Edward Arvil Hutchison, 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 17, 2018.  Ed resided in Sarasota, FL.  He was preceded in death by his parents George and Agnus Hutchison, beloved wife of 64 years, Sally L. Hutchison, his brother Bud Hutchison, sisters Artie Langston, Aurene Taylor, and Arvey Shipman.

He is survived by a brother Arlon Hutchison of Hollard, MI; his children Phil and Judy Hutchison of Excelsior Springs, MO, Laura and Donnie Blakley of Sarasota, FL, Mike and Cheryl Hutchison of Florristant, CO; 6 grandchildren Angela, Greg, Jeanna, Lana, Micheal, Stephanie; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Ed was an Ordained Deacon and served at Gashland Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO, and Lawson Baptist Church in Lawson, MO.  Ed also taught Sunday school for many years.  Ed was known for his strong work ethic and generosity to others.  Continuing in that fashion, he has donated his body to advance medical knowledge through Science Care, a whole body donor program.

A dual memorial service for Edward and Sally Hutchison, per their wishes, will be held on March 30, 2019, at the Pisgah Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs, MO.  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., with services from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
