ELIZABETH ANNABELLE McGRAW

Elizabeth Annabelle McGraw, 73, of Hardin, MO, died on Friday, May 16, 2014 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
Liz was born on September 1, 1940 in Ray County, MO to Darrel and Sadie (Craven) Oster. She married John W. "Buck" McGraw II of Hardin, MO on July 10, 1960. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, John W. McGraw III and his wife, Theresa of Odessa, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Terry Herring of Hardin, MO; four grandchildren, Tara Elaine Herring, Christopher Reed Herring, Molly Nicole McGraw and John William "J.W." McGraw IV.
In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Oster, who died in 1958; her father, Darrel Oster in 1941; her stepfather, Miley Clemens, who died in 1981 and her mother, Sadie (Craven) Oster Clemens in 2005.
Liz was the Secretary for the University of Missouri Extension Center in Richmond for over 40 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hardin. She was a former member of the Hardin-Central Board of Education. She faithfully attended the Hardin United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and an awesome grandmother. She had lived most of her life in Hardin.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hardin Cemetery Association.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Hardin Cemetery.
