EMMA "JEAN" DAVIS

Emma "Jean" (Harris) Davis, 85, of Richmond, MO died Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Jean was born on March 28, 1929, in York, Nebraska to Floyd and Emma (Price) Harris. She married Ralph Kinder Davis on November 22, 1947.

Survivors include, two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Glenda Davis of Independence, MO and Rick and Robin Davis of Richmond; 6 grandchildren, Becky Jarrett, Alyssa Davis-Johnson, Wendy Post, Ron Davis, Dollie Davis-Sneed and Corbia Davis; 7 great-grandchildren, Kara Jarrett, Frankie Johnson, Veronica and Emily Davis, Madison, Austin and Maverick Post.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband Ralph K. Davis and her sister Anita (Harris) Orr.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shirkey Hospice and Palliative Care, Richmond, MO.
