EMMA MAE HAMBRICK

Emma Mae Hambrick, 68, of Richmond, MO, died at 4:10 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.
Emma was born September 22, 1941 in Henrietta, MO to Robert and Alpha Marie (McCanless) Hewlett. She married William E. "Bill" Hambrick of Hodge, MO; he survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Willie and Charlotte Hambrick of Lebanon, MO and Chuck and Angela Hambrick of Richmond; two daughters, Tammie Foster of Richmond and Renee Kellerman of Richmond; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, T.C. and Doris Hewlett of Richmond and Bobby and Peggy Hewlett of Richmond; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Linda and Merlin Hicks of Henrietta, MO, Sharon and Mark Hritz of Benton, AR, and Rita and Charles Day of Henrietta; one sister-in-law, Betty Davis of Richmond; an aunt, Eva Sherman of Lexington, MO; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Davis; and one grandson, Brandon Hambrick.
Emma worked in housekeeping for several years at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. She was a member of the Henrietta First Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in Henrietta.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henrietta First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church, Henrietta, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, September 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be at Richmond Memory Gardens, Richmond, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
