ETHEL LUCILLE GRIEB

Ethel Lucille Grieb, 89, of Independence, MO, died on Friday, January 9, 2015 in Braymer, MO.

Lucille was born on November 14, 1925 in Omaha, NE to Charles and Eleanor (McIver) Bessey. She married Howard F. Grieb of Omaha, NE on December 14, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1985.

Survivors include; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Ann Grieb of Jacksonville, FL, 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Renee and Wesley Quillen of Richmond, MO, Kathy Carrico of Bellevue, NE, 7 grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Alvin, Harold and Charles Bessey, 5 sisters, Dorothy Nielsen, Harriett Morford, Helen Miller, Elizabeth Day and Beverly Studt.

Lucille was a homemaker. She was a Presbyterian. She had lived most of her life in the Omaha, NE and Independence, MO areas. Now that Lucille has passed away, she walks with God.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Boys Town in Omaha, NE.

Private services will be held at a later date.
