Mae was born on October 17, 1933, in Camden, to Albert and Sally (Cruse) Millsap.

Mae was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a homemaker, later working at Price Candy Company in Richmond.  She was a member of the Camden United Methodist Church and Ray County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, devoting her time assisting in the gift shop.  She had a great love for her family, friends, flowers, and birds.

Survivors include: her three children, her brother, Albert Millsap, three grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Green, Missie (Aaron) Allred, and Brogan Smithey, and eight great-grandchildren.
