FLORENCE O. STONNER
Florence O. Stonner, 80, of Camden, MO, died at 11:14 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her home.
Florence was born on January 16, 1930 in Orrick, MO to Virgil "Dick" and Hannah Edith (Clevenger) Taylor. She married Robert E. Stonner of Camden on September 28, 1949; he survives of the home
Additional survivors include one son and daughter in-law, Roger and Roberta Stonner of Richmond; one daughter, Alice Faye Monroe of Liberty, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Sammy Max and Shirley Taylor of Orrick; five grandchildren and their spouses, Valerie and Torrey Meade, Mark and Terri Stonner, Lynn and David O'Brien, Monica Hall, Kendal and Jacki Hall; and nine great-grandchildren and numerous foster children also survive.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by one son, Fred Aaron Stonner; one brother, James Taylor; one sister, Charlene Smith; and one grandson, Robert Gene Stonner.
Florence was a homemaker. She was a member of the Camden United Methodist Church. She was a 1948 graduate of the Orrick High School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was a member of the Richmond Shrinetts and the Happy Notes Square Dance Club. She had lived in the Camden area most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home, where an Order of the Eastern Star service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery in Richmond. Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
