Floyd Judd, 87, of Richmond, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City.

Floyd was born on November 14, 1936, in Henrietta, the son of Orvil A. and Zelma N. (Jeffers) Judd.  He was united in marriage to Shirley Anita Lee of Richmond on May 25, 1957; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: daughter, Marcia Judd of Richmond, extended family, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Elaine Judd; four brothers, his twin brother, Lloyd, Larry, Billy, and Vernon Judd; one sister, Juanita "Faye" Johnson

Floyd was raised and educated in the area of his birth. After receiving his education, he worked for area farmers where he found his passion for farming, that would continue throughout his life. He also worked for Lee and Sons Coal Mine in Knoxville, MO, Hamacher Feed Store in Richmond. Floyd then worked for Allis-Chalmers Tractor Manufacturing for many years and retired from there. Floyd was a hardworking man who not only worked a normal forty hours at his job at Allis-Chalmers but also maintained a working farm with row crops and raising livestock. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking he could build anything out of wood. After retiring Floyd and Shirley enjoyed spending many winters in San Juan, TX. Floyd was of the Chrisian faith.
