FRANCES McLALLEN

Frances McLallen, 87, of Richmond, MO, died at 1:08 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Mrs. McLallen was born June 6, 1922 in Colorado Springs, CO to Joe and Maria Canella. She married Bartlett McLallen, Jr. of Richmond on April 4, 1945; he preceded her in death on January 18, 1995.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Pam McLallen of Overland Park, KS; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angie and Nick Ford of Richmond, Pamela and Mike Lorentz of Overland Park, KS, and Carol McLallen of Kansas City, KS; one grandson; four step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom Canella, Johnny Canella and Charles Canella; two sisters, Margaret and Rose; and one grandson, Jerry Ford.
Mrs. McLallen was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the A.L.S. or the VITAS Hospice.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 10, at 2:00 p.m. at the Richmond Memory Gardens, Richmond, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
