FRANCES MARIE "SEEK" PHILLIPS

Frances Marie Phillips, 64, of Richmond, MO died at 2:37 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Frances was born on May 12, 1946 in Richmond to Marvin E. "Katzy" and Erma Faye (McBrien) Seek.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill Seek of Lawson, MO and Emery "Jim" and Vicky Seek of Kansas City; 3 grandchildren, Hydi Sheetz, Ashly Parrot and Joshua Seek; 7 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Loyd of Richmond, Patricia Taffner of Richmond and Bonnie Fields of Richmond also survives.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Seek who died in infancy; and one sister, Marvelena Dickey.
Frances worked for the Continental Disc Manufacturing Company in Liberty, MO for many years before retiring. She had also worked as a Dispatcher and Police Officer in the area. She was of the Christian faith. She had lived most of her life in the Clay and Ray Counties.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Frances Marie "Seek" Phillips fund.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
