Frank Titus Rodgers, 97, of Richmond, MO, died at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his home in Pleasant Valley, MO.

Mr. Rodgers was born on July 19, 1926, in Richmond, MO, to Charley C. and Charlene A. (Whitmer) Rodgers, Sr.  He married Doris Jean Hughes of Pleasant Valley, MO, on January 16, 1951; she preceded him in death on September 14, 2004.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Frank L. and Stephanie Rodgers of Kearney, MO; four grandchildren: Chad Sellers, Wendy Sellers, Brent Rodgers, and Brooke (Rodgers) Elliott; 11 great-grandchildren: Kyle Sellers, Natalie Sellers, A.J. Sellers, Alex Mellon, Adam Mellon, LeAnn Briggle, Paris Rodgers, Phoenix Rodgers, Easton Elliott, Eli Elliott, and Austyn Elliott; and his faithful companion, Lucky Lee "Rat," his dog, also survives.

In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra J. and Mark S. Sellers, brother, Charles Rodgers, Jr., and three sisters, Adeline Bryant, Madeline Weathington, and Erma (Faye) Andreas.

Mr. Rodgers was a hard-working man who devoted his life to supporting and providing for his family; he always said he loved family more than anything.  He worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1989.  He was a proud member of the United Auto Worker Union.  He also built houses with his best friend, Alvin Whitmer.  He spent his free time with his family and friends and enjoyed talking about politics and watching the Chiefs.
