FRANKLIN E. KAVANAUGH
Franklin E. Kavanaugh, 60, of Bates City, MO and formerly of the Stet, MO area died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at his home.
Franklin was born on January 15, 1952 in Caldwell County, MO to Ferrell and Betty Mae (Williams) Kavanaugh.
Survivors include one son, Brandon Kavanaugh of Odessa, MO; great-aunt, Juanita Petree of Independence, MO; two step-sons and their wives, Joey and Amanda Walter of Independence and James and Daveen Walter of Independence; his best-friend, Janet Banuelos of Olathe, KS; and his ex-wife, Sondra Kavanaugh Freiderich of Odessa.
Frank was Owner and Operator of Steam Master Inc. in Oak Grove, MO for 21 years. He was a 1970 graduate from Truman High School. Frank worked at the Chrysler Plant for 15 years in St. Louis, MO. He went to a trade school for carpet installing before opening up his own business. Frank was a member of the Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Independence. He had lived in the Independence area before moving to Bates City 15 years ago.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO; Visitation will be Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till services time at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery north of Hardin, MO. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
