Freddie F. Borntrager was born January 23, 1983, to Felty and Millie Borntrager. He died November 7, 2023, in Richmond, MO, at the age of 40 years, 9 months, and 15 days.
He was married to Lucy Nisley Borntrager on May 22, 2003; they lived in matrimony 20 years, 5 months, and 16 days.
He leaves to mourn and also cherish the memories are his wife and their six children: Calvin, 19, Leanna, 18, special friend Jonthan Gingerich, Viola, 17, special friend, LaVern Jr. Wagler, Katie Marie, 15, Ruth Ann, 13, and Elaine Rose, 14 Months. His parents, Felty and Millie Borntrager of Albia, IA. His siblings: Mervin and Lena Borntrager of Seymour, IA, Ervin and Mary Ann Borntrager of Seymour, IA, Mattie Ann and David Gingerich of Richmond, MO, Paul and Laura Borntrager of Bristol, IN, Norman and Irene Borntrager of Millersburg, OH, Ruth and Nelson Blyler of Deer Park, WI, Elsie and Lonnie Yoder of Lancaster, MO, Clemens Borntrager of the home, LaVern and Rebecca Borntrager of Albia, IA, and Clara and Perry Lambright of Deer Park, WI. His wife's family: John (deceased) and Katie Nisley of Chariton, IA, Susie and David Gingerich of Chariton, IA, Anna Nisley of the home, Miriam and Willis Bantrager of Chariton, IA, Laura and Andy Gingerich of Seymour, IA, Andy and Minerva Nisley of Chariton, IA, Vernon and Sarah Nisley of Chariton, IA, and Malinda and Raymond Hochstetler of Tomah, WI.
He was preceded in death by his brother, both grandparents, two uncles, three aunts, and a nephew.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness, prayers, food, and any act of kindness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Country Corner Community Center in Seymour, IA. Freddie will be laid to rest at Seymour Amish Cemetery, Seymour, IA.
