Gary Vance 76 a native of Orrick and resident of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his daughter's home in Warrensburg. Gary was born on July 3, 1945, the son of S.D. Vance and Mary (Ware) Vance. Gary married Carole Stack of Excelsior Springs on November 23, 1976, she preceded him death on November 15, 2021.

Additional survivors include: two daughters, Meleia (Robert) Kerr of Warrensburg and Natalie Vance of Richmond; and brother William Vance of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one brother, Reggie Vance.

Gary was a family man; he was always with his wife and kids and if he wasn't he could tell you exactly where they were! Gary was generous, kind and always ready to help anyone if he could. The only thing he loved more than his kids was his wife, Carole. They were as thick as thieves from the day they met. Gary was very involved in his church Rock Falls, where he built lifelong friendships. Gary will be very deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
