GERALD EVAN PHILLIPS

Gerald Evan Phillips, 80, of Richmond, MO formerly of Cahokia, IL, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at his home.
Gerald was born on February 1, 1930 in Rector, AR to Allen and Dona (Chasteen) Phillips. He married JoAnn Ferkel of St. Louis, MO on June 29, 1957: she survives of the home.
Other survivors include; one son, Kerry Phillips (Lisa) of Millstadt, IL; four daughters, Janice Dodds ( David) of Jefferson City, MO, Charlene Seaboldt (Mark) of Orrick, MO, Ruth Ann Jones (Jason) of Albers, IL and Rebecca Phillips ( Dave Beckner) of Belleville, IL; two brothers, Dewey Phillips ( Ann) of Eldon, MO and Larry Phillips of Cahokia, IL; one sister, Lois Boulicault of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survive.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Phillips.
Gerald worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad in the mail and baggage department. He lived most of his life in Cahokia, IL before moving to Richmond in April of 2009. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Richmond. He also was a Mason and had served his country in the Air Force.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Paragould Children's Home.
