GERALDINE FRANCES 'GERRI' BERSANO

Geraldine Frances "Gerri" Bersano, 71, of Richmond, MO, died at 6:04 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Gerri was born on January 28, 1939 in Lexington, MO to Foy Glenn and Mary (Brown) Helm. She married Lawrence Bersano of Lexington, MO on December 27, 1958. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Sherry Bersano of Richmond, MO, one daughter, Teresa Bersano of Lexington, MO, two brothers and two sisters-in-law, David Glenn and Sharon Helm of Kansas City, KS, John and Jean Helm of Lexington, MO, three sisters and one brother-in-law, Dorothy and "Windy" Goostree of Richmond, MO, Mary Elizabeth Judd of Blue Springs, MO, Pam Duffett of Blue Springs, MO two grandsons Erick Bersano and Derick Bersano.
Gerri was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. She was a 1957 graduate of Lexington High School. She had lived in Lexington before moving to Richmond in 1964.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Richmond First Baptist Church or to Vitas Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Richmond First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery.
