GUY ARCHIBALD WEBB, JR.

Guy Archibald Webb, Jr., 84, of Norborne, MO, died at 6:47 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the North Kansas City Hospital.
Guy, known by everyone as "Junior" was born on November 16, 1926 in Norborne, MO to Guy Archibald and Nellie Ebbs (Liddle) Webb, Sr. They preceded him in death. He married Gladys Charlene Henderson of Norborne, MO on September 18, 1948. She survives of the home.
Junior is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Gladys, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles and Janet Webb of Richmond, MO, Russell Webb of Norborne, MO, Darrell and Sue Webb of Carrollton, MO, two grandchildren and their spouses, Jared and Cassie Webb, Carmen and Marty Buller of Cameron, MO, three great grandchildren, Noah Buller, Olivia Buller, Myka Webb, three step grandchildren and their spouses, Tami Rosales, Kimela and Gabe Coates, Janelle and T. J. Allnutt, six step greatgrandchildren, Serena Rosales, Paige Zilliox, Naomi Coates, Michael Coates, Garrett Allnutt and Jayden Allnutt. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by two brothers, George Webb, Richard Lynden Webb and a sister, Dorothy Newham.
Junior was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Norborne First Baptist Church. He attended the country schools near Sugartree through eighth grade, then attended and graduated from Norborne High School in 1945. He served two years in the United States Army Air Corps during WW II. Junior loved to trap shoot, hunt, bowl and play golf. He was a member of the Paloma DeCoza Amigo's Hunting Club and the Wakenda Masonic Lodge #52 A.F. & A. M. He had lived in the Norborne area most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gilead Cemetery or to H.E.L.P. services in Carrollton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne, where a Masonic service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Gilead Cemetery, east of Norborne, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Pence-Lovell-England V.F.W. Post # 1773 in Carrollton.
