Harold E. Bear, 74, of Richmond, died Friday, January 3, 2020, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Harold was born on July 9, 1945, in Richmond, the son of James Ernest and Jessie (Fox) Bear.  He was united in marriage to Joan A. Dubbles of Richmond on May 10, 1981; she preceded him in death on November 7, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and brother, William Ernest Bear.

Harold was self-employed and had worked at the Lafayette County Jail. He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Dover Christian Church.
