HAROLD DENZAL LENTZ

Harold Denzal Lentz, 92, of Raytown, MO and formerly of Hardin, MO died Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

Denzal was born on July 25, 1923 in Hardin, MO to Olan and Lola (Seward) Lentz.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald E. Lentz and his wife, Judy Adams of Long Beach, CA, Harold Denzal Lentz, Jr. and his wife, Nuet Nguyen of Orange, CA and Randy Ray Lentz of Santa Ana, CA; two grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and Denzal's ex-wife, Mary Jane Johnson of Santa Ana, CA.

In addition to his parents, Denzal was preceded in death by one son, Larry Steven Lentz; four brothers, Marvin Lentz, Dorris Lentz, Glen Lentz and Ivan Lentz; and five sisters, Marie Huston, Eunice Bailey, Eleanor Fern Happy, Wilma Chester and Viola Ellis Bost.

Denzal worked for Allis-Chalmers as a fork lift driver for several years. He also sold produce in the Raytown area for several years. He was of the Baptist faith. He lived in the Kansas City area most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with a visitation on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Santa Ana, CA.
