HARRISON GAYLE PALMER

Harrison Gayle Palmer, 68, of Richmond, MO died Friday, September 02, 2016 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, MO.

Gayle was born on March 17, 1948 in Camden, MO to Joseph Harrison and Lou Ella (Davis) Palmer. He married Judy Carol Weisz of Norborne, MO on November 25, 1987. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Bradley Joseph Palmer of Kansas City, MO, Greg Palmer of Oklahoma City, OK and Brian Eugene and Kristy Shannon of Norborne; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy R. and Gary Brett Estep of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Marie Palmer of Richmond; 9 grandchildren;  1 great-grandchild and a sister-in-law, Betty Palmer.

In addition to his parents, Gayle was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Palmer.

Gayle was a car loader for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the U.A.W. Union Local #249. He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He lived in Richmond most of his life. Gayle loved photography and all sports in general. He was a member of the Shirkey's Golf Club.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be in Cravens cemetery in Camden, MO at a later date. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
