HELEN LUCILLE (GREGG) HOLT

Helen Lucille (Gregg) Holt, 96, of Richmond, MO died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home.

Helen was born on September 12, 1918 in Vanita, OK to James and Ethel Melinda (Harvey) Gregg. She married Earl Jefferson Holt of Blanco, OK on June 4, 1938. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1981.

Survivors include her children, Virginia Lucille Wood of Lake City, FL, Billie Earl Holt and his wife, Sharon of Schell City, MO, Sammy Lee Holt, Sr., of Lewisville, TX, Nicki Susan Love and her husband, Don of Columbia, MO and Martha Book and her husband, Keith of Caribou, ME; one sister, Lois Huey of California; grandchildren, Jill Valdez, Amy Oberlies, Jennifer Lynn Hicks, Earl Jefferson Holt, James Dale Holt, Julie Ann Franke, Sammy Lee Holt, Jr., June Love, John Love, Barbara Baki, Amanda Book, Courtney Book, Heidi Stubbs and Rebecca Book; great-grandchildren, Shelley, Jill, Leonard, Jason, Josiah, Mycah, Clorissa, Travis, Paisley, Peyton, Timmy, Johnathon, Jaxson and Ivan; great-great-grandchildren, Amy, Manny, Tyler, Adam, Kaia, Kali, Madilyne, Brooklyn and Carson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Arnita, Lydia, Hazel, Ruth, Ethel and Dean; brothers, Carless, James Leroy, Harold, Virgil, Pat and Bill; granddaughter, Courtney Charis Book.

Helen was a cook for the schools in Richmond before retiring. Helen was a faithful member of the Lord's Church, Church of Christ and was there when services were held. She had lived in Richmond most of her life.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery north of Richmond.
