HOPE DENISE WALKER

Hope Denise Walker, 45, of Richmond, MO died suddenly at her home on June 6, 2016.

Hope was born on July 20, 1970 in Richmond, MO. She was one of three children born to Janetta (Walker) Boyd.

Hope is survived by one daughter, Alexandria Hamilton, and two sons, Seth Morgan and Jayden Morgan. She also has one granddaughter, Ava Hamilton. All are residents of Richmond, MO. Additional survivors include her mother, Janetta Boyd of Richmond, her long-time companion, Ronnie Morgan of Kansas City, MO and two sisters, Jeralynne Walker of Raytown, MO and Chasity Sanders of Justin, TX; an aunt, Katherine Walker and uncle, Ronnie Walker, both of Richmond; and aunt, Faye Donna Adams of Leavenworth, KS. She also has a nephew and host of cousins that survive her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and several aunts.

Hope worked at Shirkey Leisure Acres for the past 21 years as a nurse aide. She had a love for the residents of Shirkey and would put forth every effort in her work. Prior to Shirkey, Hope worked as a data processor for DST Systems in Kansas City, MO. Hope was a lifelong resident of Richmond, MO, graduating from Richmond High School in 1988. She was a lifelong member of the Second Baptist Church in Richmond.

Hope will sadly be missed by all that knew and loved her. She stood tall, stood by her convictions and was very direct with her words. We love you Hope, but God loves you more. At God's appointed time, we will see you again.

A private family memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Second Baptist Church in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date. Online condolences maybe left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
