"JACK" "RIVERRAT" HACKETT

Jack Hackett, 77, of Richmond, MO died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Jack was born on August 25, 1936 in Ray County, MO to Orville and Pearl (Williams) Hackett. He married Joyce G. McKee of Henrietta, MO on February 21, 1969; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons; two daughters; two brother; 3 sisters; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survives.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Jack was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Local Operators Union #101 for many years. He was known as A-1 back hoe operator. He was also know for all his work and help on the Missouri River during the 1993 flood. He was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong Ray County resident.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jack Hackett memorial fund.
