Jackie Wayne "Jack" Wicker, 66, of Excelsior Springs, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City.

Jack was born on May 17, 1957, in Kansas City, the son of Virgil Ernest and Donna Lucille (Liles) Wicker.  He was united in marriage to April L. Round of Excelsior Springs on March 30, 1979; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: his mother, Donna Lucille Wicker of Richmond; son, Nathan Wicker of Excelsior Springs; daughter Rachael Wicker of Cameron; three grandchildren: Preston Wayne Wicker, Jackson Elijah Wicker, and Charlie Louise Wicker; brother, Steve (Brenda) Wicker of Wood Heights; sister, Kathie (Garry) Bush of Richmond; father-in-law, Harry Round of Lawson; mother-in-law, Loretta (Gordon) Coble of Cameron; uncle, Don Nightingale of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Jack was reared and educated in Excelsior Springs and graduated in the class of 1975.  After high school, he joined the family business, Wicker Furniture, TV, and Appliance.  He was a familiar face at the store where he worked for many years.  Jack had an early love for music and started playing piano and singing at a young age.  He especially enjoyed Country and Gospel music.  Jack played all around the Kansas City Regional area.  He played for over 40 country stars when they would come to the area for shows.  Most of all, Jack loved all his family and especially his grandkids.  He was of the Christian faith.
