JAMES R. "JIM" HAPPY

James R. "Jim" Happy, 72, of Camden, MO died at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital.
Jim was born on October 22, 1939 in Noel, MO to Lowell P. and Ruth L. (McGaugh) Happy. He married Mary Jane Burgess of Camden on November 5, 1960; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James D. and Patricia Happy of Richmond, MO and Gerald L. and Beth R. Happy of Excelsior Springs, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Jack O'Dell of Richmond; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Happy, Emily Happy and Elan Happy.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul Happy and Gene Happy.
Jim was a fork lift driver for over 30 years at Ford Motor Company before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Camden United Methodist Church. He had lived in the Camden area most of his life. He was a 1958 graduate from Orrick High School. Jim was a member of the U.A.W. union local #249 in Kansas City, MO and was on the Craven Cemetery Board. He loved to hunt and fish.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia Society, Camden United Methodist Church or to Crossroads Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in the Cravens Cemetery in Camden.
