JAMES W. "J.W." STIGALL

James W. "J.W." Stigall, 76, of Richmond, MO died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at his home.
J.W. was born on December 8, 1935 in Henrietta, MO to James O. and Mildred K. (Rider) Stigall. He married Carolin Perez of Richmond on July 19, 1957; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dan Link of Richmond; 4 grandchildren, Jeremiah Schmidt, Amber Schmidt and her companion, Curtis Johnson, Jessica Carr and her husband, Ryan and Ryan King; and 7 great-grandchildren, Blake Stickley, Kyan Carr, Madisyn Carr, Gabriel Johnson, Lilyan Carr, Jace Krasowski and Olivia Mayberry.
In addition to his parents, J.W. was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Jo Tarr.
J.W. worked in the paint department at General Motors Leeds Plant for 30 years before retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Henrietta Methodist Church. J.W. had lived in Richmond most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made either to Crossroads Hospice or to the First Church of God in Richmond.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a masonic service held at 10:45 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
