Jarrod Michael Klein, 45, of Excelsior Springs, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 7, 2019, at his residence.

Jarrod was born on April 6, 1974, in Independence, the son of George and Mary (Linn) Klein.  He was united in marriage to Schelley Sue Smith of Missouri City, on October 3, 2015.  She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: six sons: Anthony Carparelli, Nate Keeffover, Jaxson Klein, Jordan Klein, Jett Klein, and Teller Cantu; one brother, Robert (Vickie) Klein of Excelsior Springs; two sisters: Sheryl (Brian) Adcock of Missouri City and Sheila (Dennis) Firth of Cowgill; two grandchildren; and his mother and step-father, Harry and Mary Dugger of Richmond. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Jarrod grew up in Missouri City.  He worked for Superior Bowen Asphalting, where he was foreman for over 20 years.  He was also a heavy equipment operator.  He loved to ride motorcycles and have fun with his friends.
