JEAN SEEK HINES

Jean Seek Hines, 84, of Braymer, MO, and formerly of Richmond, MO, died at 8:06 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer.
Jean was born on May 21, 1927 in Newcastle, England to William and Mary Ellen (Shields) Charlton. She first married Charles Richard Seek of Richmond, MO, in England, on May 3, 1945; he preceded her in death on April 26, 1988. She then married George Hines of Richmond on June 3, 1989; he preceded her in death on August 13, 1999.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn Goers of Stover, MO, Gloria and Wayne Leamer of Braymer and Patty and David Jones of Cowgill, MO; 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Jean was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Gladys Charlton and Mabel Lillard; and one granddaughter, Tracy Leamer.
Jean was a homemaker. She was a member of the Richmond Christian Presbyterian Church. She had lived in Richmond most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jean Hines Memorial Fund.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be held in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery in Richmond.
