JEANNE MARIE VICK

Jeanne Marie Vick, 68, of Richmond, MO died at 12:16 p.m., on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas, MO.
Jeanne was born on February 5, 1943 in Thief River Falls, MN to Guy and Eleanor (Grovom) Jensen. She married Mel Vick of Richmond on December 23, 1969; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Ronnie Murphree of Richmond, John and Samantha Murphree of Richmond and Scott Vick of Kansas City, MO; 5 grandchildren, Hunter Vick, Madison Vick, Patricia Lauck, Austin Powell and Justin Powell; one brother, Tom Jensen of Imperial Beach, CA; and one sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Rick Jones of Ozark, MO.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Jensen and David Jensen.
Jeanne was a beautician at Gallery 208 in Richmond for over 20 years. She was a Lutheran. She had lived in Independence, MO before moving to Richmond in 1975.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Donor's Choice.


Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery north of Hardin, MO. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
