JERRY OUTERSKY, JR.

Jerry Outersky, Jr., 86, of Richmond, MO died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

Jerry was born on December 26, 1928 in Richmond to Jerry and Lorena (Griffin) Outersky, Sr. He married Bonnie J. Brixey of Pomona, MO on November 8, 1952. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one son, Frank W. Outersky of Boone, IA; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela and Geran Smith of Orrick, MO and Brenda S. Keller of Richmond; one sister, Joyce Jellum of Richmond; 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Angela and Todd Fletcher, Aaron and Courtney Summers and Ryan Keller; 6 great-grandchildren, Emily Fletcher, Jacob Fletcher, Abigail Fletcher, Logan Summers, Mia Keller and Sierra Keller.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Skiles; and one grandson, Jeremy Summers.

Jerry met his wife, Bonnie while attending Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, MO, graduating in 1949. He was a lifelong farmer. Jerry was active in dairy farming until 1986. He was a member of the Missouri Diary Association. He was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. Jerry lived in the Richmond area most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Deaf Ministries at the Richmond First Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Richmond First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will follow services in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
