JIM GREEN, JR.

James Arthur Green, Jr., 75, of Camden, MO, passed on Friday, March 27, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born on August 17, 1939, in Vibbard, MO, to James A. and Patsy (Heath) Green, Sr. He married Barbara Lee of Orrick, MO, on July 5, 1958. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one daughter, Linda Greer and her husband Jerry of Camden; two brothers, Larry Green and his wife Sue of Richmond, MO and Kenneth Green and his wife Kathy of Park Ridge, NJ; one sister Doris Schuler and her husband Ron of Liberty, MO; two grandchildren Jeremy Greer and his wife Katy of Camden and Jodi Dugan and her husband Keith of Orrick; six great grandchildren: Conner Greer, Ross Greer, Tucker Greer, Madilynn Greer, Claire Dugan, Baby Dugan due in September; several nieces & nephews and his beloved dog Rocky.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a 1957 graduate of Richmond High School. Jim was involved with his family in the aggregate industry locally where they operated Ray County Stone and Clay County Ready Mix (formally Mosby Ready Mix). He was a lifelong Ray County resident and also did some farming. He was a member of the Missouri Dump Truck Association.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Crowley Cemetery or the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Crowley Cemetery south of Rayville, MO.
