Joan Coleen Carroll – Ingalls, 73, resided in Richmond, MO, formerly of Irving, TX, and Pierce, CO, died February 24, 2021, in Richmond, MO, of natural causes.

Joan was born on November 25, 1947, in Greeley, CO, the daughter of Walter Carroll and Hazel Kinkade-Carroll.

Siblings are Patricia Mulherin of Lacey, WA, Twyla Mitchell of Richmond, MO, and Jim Carroll of Eagle River, AK.

Joan graduated high school at Highland High School in Ault, CO.  She retired from the City of Irving, TX, as a municipal customer service representative.

Joan was a loving person with an outgoing personality and had a great sense of humor.  Joan never met a stranger and had a true heart of gold.  She always told her children she loved them "to the moon and back."  Joan was a huge animal lover on the farm as a young child as well as later in life.

Joan enjoyed playing board and card games with her friends and family and was an awesome cook.

Joan is survived by her sisters Patricia Mulherin and Twyla Mitchell and her brother Jim Carroll.

Joan is also survived by her children Kassandra Winn, Shawn Poe, Adrian Poe, and Zachary Poe.

Grandchildren are Jeff Winn, Tyler Winn, Collin Dunbar, Erica Poe, Eilish Poe, Erin Poe, Jewel Poe, Niamh Poe, & Eamon Poe.

Great-grandchildren are Oliver Winn and Ethan Winn.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents Walter Carroll and Hazel Kinkade-Carroll.

A family visitation occurred on February 25, 2021, prior to cremation.  The family is planning a memorial service in the spring in Texas at a later date.
