John Peyton Bunch, 70, of Richmond, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

John was born on April 24, 1948, in Excelsior Springs, to Joseph Peyton and Ida Elizabeth (Patterson) Bunch.  He was united in marriage to Deborah Frost-Bunch of Kansas City, Missouri on April 1, 1998.  She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one granddaughter, Skily Smith of Richmond; one son, Ryan Edward Bunch of Overland Park, KS; one daughter, Carie Beth Bunch of Missouri; one step-daughter, Sybil Frost of Freeman; one brother, Scott Joseph Bunch of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-daughter, Cindy Frost.

John worked for Cassens Transport in Kansas City, MO as a car hauler.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and cutting firewood.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity.
