John W. Clark, Jr., 70, of Orrick, died Saturday, September 22, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

John was born on May 11, 1948, in Braymer, to John W. and Helen (Cox) Clark. He married Nina B. Harris of Orrick on May 24, 1968. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: two sons: John Wayne Clark (Kelly) of Orrick and Artie Scott Clark (Terri) of Orrick; four sisters: Helen Whitworth of Cleveland, TX, June Whitworth (Bill) of Osceola, Nancy Baker of Richmond, and Arlene Karr (Stan) of Independence; one brother Arthur Clark (Meagan) of Rayville; 6 grandchildren: Elizabeth Pennington (Cody), Joseph Clark, Amanda Clark, Cheyenne Combs (Cody), Austin Clark, and Aaron Brooke-Clark; and 8 great-grandchildren: Hailey Pennington, Kailey Pennington, Bailey Pennington, Tucker Clark, Paisley Clark-Hoyle, Benntley Franzen, Charlie Combs, and Matthew Clark; and his faithful companions Remington and Hoss.

John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dennis (Yogi) Clark, and three sisters: twins, Judy and Joyce Clark, and Darla Jean Clark; his faithful companions Oreo and Lucky.

John was reared and educated in Braymer and Richmond and lived most of his married life in Orrick.  John worked as a machinist for Intercontinental Manufacturing in Riverside.  John's passions included participating in rendezvous with his buddies, hunting, and fishing.  He was a member of the Crooked River Muzzleloaders and a past member of the Beaver Club.  He was a member of the Camden Masonic Lodge, Ray Lodge #223 AF & AM.
