John Cleveland Branstetter, 74, of Rayville, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at Liberty Hospital.

Jack was born on June 7, 1946, in Rayville, the son of June and Georgia (Teegarten) Branstetter.

Survivors include: son, Landon Branstetter of Rayville; daughter, Shelly Branstetter (Brian Robinson) of Austin, TX; and two sisters, Lynn Purdue of Tulsa, OK, and Gisele Mesh of Kansas City: and one niece Jessica Cates Bolen of Tulsa, OK, and two nephews, Rodney Cates (Bonnie Cates) of Lawson, MO and Greg Weber of Richmond, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack was reared and educated in Rayville and graduated from the Lawson High School.  After high school, he served in the United States Navy.  John enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and raising his cattle.  He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
