JOHN WESLEY WARREN, III
John Wesley Warren, III, 65, of Richmond, MO died at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at his home.
John was born on February 18, 1946 in Odessa, MO to John W. and Lola Ellen (Brown) Warren, Sr.
Survivors include one son and daughter in-law, John Wesley Warren, IV and Melissa Blair of Shorewood, WI; one daughter Maria Christine Warren of Shorewood, WI; three sisters and brother's in-law, Emma and Charles Williams of Richmond, Helen and Michael Hauck of Jacksonville, FL and Lola Warren of Richmond; and several nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
John grew up an Eagle Scout and attended the University of Missouri, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. After college, John joined the United States Marine Corps. John later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he married Donna Mae Cassillo, became a teacher at Wells Junior High School and later, a psychometrist for Milwaukee County. Throughout his life, John was an athlete, running competitively in both high school and the Marine Corps. John was also an expert in maintaining gardens in both cold (Wisconsin) and warm (Missouri) climates. Finally, John enjoyed all aspects of photography.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ward Chapel Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ward Chapel in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ward Chapel in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date. The Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
