JOSHUA LEE "PORKY" GARRISON

Joshua Lee "Porky" Garrison, 30, of Richmond, Mo, died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
Josh was born on September 14, 1984 in Richmond, Mo.
Josh is survived by his mother and step-father, Debbie and Forrest Eaton of Richmond, Mo; his son, Zachary Lee Garrison of Richmond, Mo; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Susann Logsdon of Richmond, Mo; his sister, Brandy True of Orrick, Mo; his niece, Emma True; aunts and uncles, Tim and Sarah Logsdon, Rick and Dottie Johnson, Arch and Sheila Logsdon and Kenny and Wilma Austin; cousins, Luke and Michelle Logsdon, Tim and Heather Logsdon, Billy Logsdon, Ashley Logsdon, Tony Johnson, Adam Logsdon, Austin Logsdon, Ross and Stacy Schenk , Aaron and Angie Penniman and Melinda Young; and his best friends, Joe and Jessica Penniston, Matt Homan and Jason Richardson.
Josh was an electrician for Expert Electric in Richmond for the past seven years. He was of the Christian faith. Josh was a hard worker. He was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his son Zack with all his heart. He was a lifelong Richmond resident.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Zachary Lee Garrison education fund.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church, located at 43949 E. 132nd Street, Richmond, Mo. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
