Josiah Robert Ellison, 15 month old infant son of D'Lano Ellison and Jennifer Shockley of Independence, passed unexpectedly on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.  He is loved dearly and will be missed always.

Survivors include: paternal grandfather, Donald Ellison, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; paternal grandmother, Stacey Ellison of Independence; maternal grandfather, Wayne Shockley of Kansas City, MO; and maternal great-grandparents, Shirley Harmon of Richmond and Larry Hunten of Kansas City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kimberly Shockley.
