Joyce Leah (Early) Price, 78, of Richmond, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at North Kansas City Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.

Joyce was born on November 21, 1946, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Loyd Franklin and Mary Elizabeth (Hileman) Early.

Survivors include: daughter, Amy Hannah of Richmond; brother, Larry (Lil) Early of Richmond; granddaughter, Leah (Joseph)Hannah-Gorham of Richmond; three great grandchildren, Lucia, Harlee, and Rolland Gorham; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Milton E. Price, and infant brother, Clifford Early.

Joyce was raised in the Rockingham community, where she attended Central Elementary and later graduated from Stet High School. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, fully committed to her Christian faith and an active member of Richmond Christian Union Church. Joyce dedicated much of her time to serving others, volunteering regularly at Shirkey Nursing Home and creating beautiful quilts for Project Linus. Her generous spirit extended to her consistent support of New Hope Missions in Haiti. Joyce's unwavering faith, kindness, and love for her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
