JUDITH ANNE "JUDY" BASSE

Judith Anne "Judy" Basse, 62, of Norborne, MO lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Shirkey Nursing Home in Richmond, MO.
Judy was born on August 29, 1950 in Carroll County, MO to Harold William and Leila Mae (Decker) Renzelmann. She married Gustave Victor Basse, Sr., of Bogard, MO, they enjoyed 48 years together. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Angie Basse of Wentzville, MO; two daughters and son-in-law, Patty Offutt of Norborne, MO and Shana and John Rinehart of Albany, MO; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Susie Renzelmann of Excello, MO and Gary and Cricket Renzelmann of Carrollton, MO; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanie and Otis Ray Stark of Keytesville, MO and Cheryl and Doug Troutman of Las Vegas, NV; and 7 grandchildren, Hannah, Drew, Lauren and Ellen Basse, Hayden Offutt, Raegan and Addison Rinehart.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith. She was a lifelong Norborne resident. Judy loved children and was a daycare provider for over 30 years.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ellis-Fischel Cancer Center in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne, MO. Burial will be held in the Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne.
