In addition to her parents, Granny was preceded in death by her infant sister Nancy.
Judy and Ray met at the state fair in Louisiana while she was going to cosmetology school; Ray was showing cattle there, it was love at first sight. Granny became a housewife and homemaker and she would raise her children on the farms that Ray managed. While in Missouri, they lived in Lee's Summit, Kearney, Milan, Lawson and currently in Excelsior Springs. While living on the farm Granny developed a love of nature and all of God's critters, as she would call them. Granny was a member of the Forest Grove Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, MO. Granny loved country music (dreamy Alan Jackson), fishing, feeding birds, gardening, flowers, family get togethers (fish frys and BBQs) and especially her grandbabies: Ronnie, Tiff, Baby Girl Ashlee, Little Justin, Ms. Lexi and Nicole. With their first grandchild came the name Granny, from then on her friends and family would just call her "Granny".
