JULIA LEE "JUDY" DAY

Julia Lee "Judy" Day, 68, of Richmond, MO died at 8:48 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, MO.
Judy was born on December 25, 1942 in Carrollton, MO to Jefferson H. and Dorothy E. (Curtner) Steele.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Teddy Hamm of Richmond; 1 granddaughter, Allison M. Hamm and her fiancé, Eric Thomas of Paola, KS and one great-granddaughter on the way, Trinity Lee Thomas.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy was a member of the Henrietta Baptist Church. She was a Pharmacy Technician for over forty years working for Economy Drug and C&C Drug Store in Richmond, Baptist Memorial Hospital and Research Hospital before retiring at Lakewood Truman Medical Center. She was a member of the Women's Bowling Association. She had lived in Richmond most of her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henrietta First Baptist Church or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Richmond Memory Gardens in Richmond.
