KARL JUNIOR NOELKER

Karl Junior Noelker, 83, of Norborne, MO died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Karl was born on January 27, 1932 in Hardin, MO to Karl F. and Beulah L. (Hetzel) Noelker.

Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Bonnie Noelker of Norborne, MO; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ted Benefiel of Peculiar, MO; and 15 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Karl was preceded in death by two brothers, Sterling Noelker and Rex Noelker; and two sisters, Arlene Darby and Rosemary Falls.

Karl was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was an Insurance Adjuster for Lynn Insurance Group for over 30 years before retiring. Karl lived in Portland, Oregon before moving to Norborne. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne. He was a member of the Carroll County Country Club. Karl loved to play golf.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne or to the Lutheran Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne. There will be no visitation, although the body will lie in state on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne and also 1 hour before service time on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the church. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery north of Norborne where military honors will be provided by the Pence-Lovell-England V.F.W. Post #1773 in Carrollton, MO.
