Katherine Fern Daley, 63, of Lexington, MO died at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Kathy was born on December 25, 1947 in Richmond, MO to Harry and Sarah Katherine (Wrisinger) Hayes.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Gail Morton of Lee's Summit, MO; two daughters and sons in-law, Shonda and George O'Dell of Orrick, MO and Sama and Willie O'Dell of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Lynn Hayes of Hardin, MO; and nine grandchildren, Alex O'Dell, Calvin O'Dell, Elizabeth O'Dell, Kendra O'Dell, Kenzie O'Dell, Christopher Morton, Dustin Morton, Blake Wrisinger and Elizabeth Wrisinger.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathy was a secretary for S & K Industries in Lexington before retiring in 2009. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Norborne, MO and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi in Hardin. She was a 1965 graduate from Hardin. She had lived in Stratford, NY before moving to Lexington.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens in Richmond.
