KATHERINE V. STIGALL

Katherine V. Stigall, 91, of Richmond, MO died at 11:12 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Katherine was born on July 31, 1920 in Lexington, MO to Clarence and Opal (Lierman) Keller. She married Milton Stigall of Henrietta, MO on July 1, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2007.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jessie Jefferson of Kansas City, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Helen Keller of Liberty, MO; one grandson, Jessie Jefferson IV.
In addition to her parents and husband, Katherine was preceded in death by one brother, William Keller; and two sisters, Emma Muse and Gloria Seward.
Katherine was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith. Katherine had lived in the Lexington and Richmond areas most of her life. She was a member of the Lexington V.F.W. Post #4052 Auxiliary. The family would like to thank Shirkey Nursing and Rehab Hospice, Nurses and CNA'S for all the loving care given to Katherine the past 7 years.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shirkey Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
