Kelly Dawn Wilson, 54, of Richmond, died Thursday, November 10, 2022, at her home in Richmond surrounded by her loving family.

Kelly was born on January 4, 1968, in Modesto, CA the daughter of Lawrence Lloyd "Larry" and Dana Gail (Walker) Showen.  She was united to marriage to Dave Alfred Wilson, Jr. of Turlock, CA on March 3, 1984; he preceded her in death on July 6, 2019.

Survivors include: one son, Derrick Lee (Kenneth Thompson) Wilson of Richmond, two daughters: Darlene (Phillip) Barrett of Hardin and Desiree (Danny) Pliler of Richmond; 10 grandchildren: Jaden Barrett, Rhian Pliler, Tayler Mead, Macie Pliler, Reagan Barrett, Gus Long, Chloe Pliler, Corbin Barrett, Emily Barrett, and Lilly Barrett; one brother, Larry Kevin (Robin) Showen of Ceres, CA; and one sister, Kimberlin Marie (Andy) Woodriff of Port Orchard, WA.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Kelly was reared and educated in Keyes, CA.  Her and husband were high school sweethearts.  In 1992, they moved to the Richmond area.  Her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, and Nana to her grandchildren.  She enjoyed music and her dogs.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

A visitation for Kelly will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.  Graveside service for both Kelly and Dave will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Richmond Memory Gardens.
