KENNETH SCOTT HOLLOWAY, JR.
Kenneth Junior Holloway, 92, of Fort Worth, TX and formerly of the Hardin, MO area passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Fort Worth TX.
Ken was born on January 4, 1919 in Ray County, MO to Kenneth Scott and Margaret Kathleen (Hileman) Holloway. He married Gwynneth Lee Hogan on December 11, 1937; she preceded him in death on July 19, 2003.
Survivors include one daughter and son in-law, Lynn and Steve Graham, D.D.S. of Houston; and one grandson, Robert Elliot Graham of Houston.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ken was preceded in death by infant son, Kenneth Scott Holloway; and a brother, Will Scott Holloway.
Ken served as a captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941-1946 and was assigned to the Southwest Pacific during the Second World War. In 1956, Ken's family moved to Fort Worth where he spent his 34-year-long career working as an aeronautical engineer with the Federal Aviation Administration. Ken was a member of South Hills Christian Church in Fort Worth. He enjoyed his membership in a unique group known as the Cowboy Club.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the South Hills Christian Church, 3200 Bilglade, Fort Worth, Texas 76133 or Lavelock Cemetery in Hardin, MO.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lavelock Cemetery north of Hardin, MO.
