KENNETH RAY "PREACH" KARL

Kenneth Ray "Preach" Karl, 92 of Richmond, Mo, died on Friday, July 10, 2015 at his home.

Preach was born on September 21, 1922 in Orrick, Mo to Ray Leslie and Elizabeth (Vinyard) Karl. He married Pauline Evans of Richmond, Mo on January 8, 1953. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Randi Karl of Belton, Mo; 3 grandchildren, Mike Karl and his fiancé', Katy, Robert Karl and his wife, Tracy and Brandon Karl and his wife, Misty; 5 great-grandchildren, Kayla Nibarger, Brodie Karl, Tucker Karl, Kayleigh Karl and Michaela Karl; and 3 great-great-grandchildren also survive; Cayden Nibarger, Blaine Nibarger and Hadley Nibarger.

Preach was an assembler at the General Motors Leed's Plant in Kansas City for 31 years, retiring in 1988. He was a United States Army Veteran of WW II. He was a life member of the Richmond VFW Post #4398 and the Richmond American Legion Post # 237. He was of the Christian faith. Preach live most of his life in Richmond.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the VFW Post# 4398.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery, where military graveside services will be provided by the Ray County Veterans.
