Kent Wayne Dickey, 66, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his residence.

Kent was born on April 10, 1957, in Excelsior Springs, the son of Jack and Jean (Kalberloh) Dickey.  He was united in marriage to Michelle Dawn McNiel on August 28, 1993; she survives of the home.

Survivors include: son, Garett Dickey of Richmond; three daughters: Carissa Dickey of Excelsior Springs, Lesa Dickey of Independence, and Brandy Arnold of Richmond; 10 grandchildren; and sister, Sherry (Raymond) Allen of Orrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Brett Andrew Dickey, his daughter, Melissa Dickey, and his sister, Jackie Dickey.

Kent was reared and educated in the area of his birth and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in the class of 1975.  He loved his music, fishing, NASCAR, Mark Martin, and Dale Earnhart, Sr.  He was an avid Chiefs fan.  Kent worked in construction.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
