Kimberley Joyce Thompson, 61, of Richmond, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City Hospital.

Kimberley was born on October 7, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of James Stenton and Verna Eleanor (Pietila) Proctor.  She was united in marriage to Ricky Joe Thompson of Lanagan, MO on December 4, 1981.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one daughter, Vanessa Thompson and her husband Gregory Lee of Richmond, two brothers, Keith Proctor and Kevin Proctor both of Minnesota.  She was preceded in death by her mother.

Kimberley grew up and was educated in Minnesota.  She worked as an office manager in the healthcare field.  She lived in Richmond for the past 15 years.
